Tell us
what you’re
picturing

A short conversation — a couple of minutes, no forms. Watch the Design Studio fill in below as you talk, get a project reference and a planning range, and send the whole thing to our team in one click.

Live

Hi — I'm here to take down what you're thinking about building. Tell me about it in your own words, or pick one below to get started.

The Design Studio, live

Filling in as you talk

Everything you tell us above lands here automatically — what you’re building, roughly how big, the style and materials. Tweak any of it directly whenever you like; the chat won’t overwrite something you’ve changed by hand unless you tell it something new yourself.

A photoreal AI image of this exact configuration — cladding, roof, style, the lot.

Style reference — this image was generated by AI from what you described. It is not a design, not a plan, and not something we’ve priced. It exists to check we’re picturing the same thing.

An AI image generated from your exact choices — a style reference, not a design.

01

What are you building?

02

How big, roughly?

1,400sq ft6003,200

Not sure? Pick the closest room or building you already know the size of. We refine this at the first meeting.

03

Anything specific in mind?

Optional. Goes straight into the AI rendering and the project summary you can send us — word for word.

04

Style

What look are you after?

Not a menu to order from — just the quickest way to tell us what you’re picturing.

Tap what you like

These are real materials from our finished projects — not a catalogue. Picking a few sharpens what we build from.

Anything else?

11

Customize from your own photo

Upload a photo of the actual space, add rough dimensions and what you want changed, and get it back edited to match your style, palette and material choices above.

Your photo

Your photo is sent to Anthropic and Google to generate this one edited image, then discarded — nothing is stored on the server.

12

Open it in SketchUp

Download a real, to-scale 3D starting shape built from the exact numbers above — footprint, wall height and roof pitch. Open it in SketchUp to rotate it, walk through it, and keep building on it yourself, or send it to our team as a starting point for a proper model.

Opens via SketchUp’s Ruby Console (Window ▸ Ruby Console — needs SketchUp Pro or Studio, not the free web app). It builds walls, a roof and, if you picked them, a deck and a loft floor — no windows or doors cut in yet, so treat it as a rough massing model, not a finished design.

Where the number comes from

The assistant only writes down what you tell it. The range itself is calculated by the same estimator behind the Design Studio — so nobody, human or otherwise, is making the figure up on the spot.

What the reference is for

Your project gets a code like HDB-2608-K7QR. Quote it in an email or on the phone and we can pull up exactly what you described, without you repeating yourself.

What happens to what you type

Nothing is stored. The conversation lives in your browser until you close the tab — the only copy that leaves is the one you choose to email over.
